We are proud to invite our patients to join us in conducting clinical trials on treatments for various skin conditions.
While our highly-trained physicians oversee the trial, you’ll have access to free medical care that the general public does not yet have access to. Your participation will help us enhance our strategies for remedying common skin problems impacting our patients.

What Happens When I Sign Up for a Clinical Trial?
Our team will review your application and determine if you’re a good candidate for the trial based on these factors:

- Skin conditions
- Medical history
- Allergies and sensitives

Are Clinical Trials Safe?
Interventions are typically tested on animals to gauge their safety and effectiveness. If the results of the animal trials are positive, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will approve the intervention to proceed to human trials.
Will I Get Paid for Participating in a Clinical Trial?
Depending on which trial you participate in, you will receive compensation.
What Are the Phases of Clinical Trials?
- Phase 1: The intervention will be administered to a small group of people to gauge the safety and dosage.
- Phase 2: Here, researchers test the effectiveness of a drug on a larger group of people, particularly those who suffer from certain health conditions.
- Phase 3: Hundreds to thousands of people will try the intervention. Researchers can examine different populations and dosages and compare this intervention to others. If the FDA agrees the intervention is valid, it will be approved.
- Phase 4: After approval, the researchers and FDA will continue monitoring those taking the drug, as some side effects don’t always appear in the initial phases.

What Can I Expect From a Clinical Trial?
Usually, a clinical trial goes as follows:
- The doctor will explain what you can expect from the trial. This is your time to ask questions.
- You’ll sign an informed consent form, indicating you understand what you’re about to partake in.
- The doctor will perform another screening to ensure you’re fit for the trial.
- You may be assigned to a test or control group.
- You’ll follow directions and alert the doctors if you have any issues or concerns.
- You’ll come to each session and visit your doctor regularly to ensure you’re responding well to the treatment.
