Botox

Botulinum toxin (Botox) is a substance that can help minimize the presentation of wrinkles.  When injected, Botox works to temporarily minimize the muscle movements underneath the skin to make wrinkles appear less apparent. Botox works best on the upper third of the face-- on frown lines between the eyes, crow's feet, and horizontal lines on the forehead. No sedation or anesthetic is needed, and you can immediately resume your regular activities following treatments.  Botox can produce dramatic effects that usually last from four to six months, at which time, you can receive another treatment.
